About SnackScore

SnackScore is an independent website that rates commercially available snack products for babies and toddlers. Our goal is simple: help parents quickly identify which snacks are worth buying and which are better left on the shelf.

Why we built this

The baby snack market is crowded with products that look healthy but contain more sugar, salt, or processed ingredients than they should. Marketing language like "no added sugar" or "organic" can be misleading — a product can carry both labels and still be nutritionally poor for its age group.

We wanted a single, honest reference that cuts through the packaging claims.

How it works

Every product is assigned a score of A, B, C, or D based on its ingredients list and nutritional profile. Scores are not influenced by brands, retailers, or advertising. See our full scoring methodology.

Always free

Product ratings on SnackScore are and will always be free to access. We may earn a small affiliate commission if you click a "Where to buy" link and make a purchase — this helps cover running costs but never affects scores.
